Tickets Japan

Japan's premier attractions, booked for you from anywhere.

Japan's ticketing is built for people who live in Japan. We exist for everyone else: our team queues online when tickets are released and reserves your dated entry, so you can book from anywhere, in your language, with your own card.

What we do

The Ghibli Museum releases a whole month of tickets at once, online, at 10:00 Tokyo time on the 10th of the month before. From Europe that is the middle of the night; from the Americas it is the evening before. The site may also want a Japanese phone number or a domestic card. It is easy to miss, and other attractions run their own versions of the same routine.

Tickets Japan takes that job off your hands. You tell us the date and entry time you want, with backups, and pay with the card you already have, in English, French, Spanish or Chinese. When the month's tickets are released, our team is in the queue and works through your dates in order. You get the result by email.

We are starting with the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka and adding destinations one at a time, so that each one gets the same care.

What we are not

  • Not the venue

We are an independent booking service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Ghibli Museum, Studio Ghibli or Museo d'Arte Ghibli, and official information always comes from them.

  • Not resale

We do not hold tickets and sell them on. Every ticket is reserved in your name, on your request, when the venue releases it.

  • Not a guarantee

Popular dates run out. If we cannot secure any of your requested dates, we tell you straight away and refund the ticket price minus the processing fee and payment-processor costs.

What you can count on

  • One price, shown in full

Every price includes museum admission, our booking service and the $2 processing fee. Taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.

  • A clear refund rule

If we cannot secure any of your requested dates or entry times, you get the ticket price back minus the $2 fee and any payment-processor costs. It is written down in our refund policy.

  • Your language, start to finish

Book, pay and write to us in English, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese. We answer in the language you write in.

  • People, not a bot

A person queues for your ticket and a person answers your email. When something goes wrong on a release morning, you hear it from us first.
